Eight arrested in narcotics investigations in Keene

KEENE, NH — Keene Police arrested eight people on April 9 in connection with narcotics investigations in the greater Keene area.

Michael Sullivan, 42, of Keene was arrested on two child support warrants issued by 8th Circuit Family Court.

Bail was set at $2,000 cash, and Sullivan was unable to post bail and was held at Cheshire County House of Corrections pending an arraignment on April 10 at 1 p.m. in the 8th Circuit Court-Keene.

Christopher Voorhees, 32, of Gilsum, New Hampshire was arrested on a Keene Police warrant for possession of controlled drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.

Voorhees is on probation and was held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending an arraignment in the 8th Circuit Court-Keene on April 10 at 1 p.m.

Amanda Dodge, 40, of Keene was arrested on a violation of probation warrant and was additionally charged with possession of controlled drugs.

She was held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending an arraignment in the 8th Circuit Court-Keene on April 10 at 1 p.m.

Laurene Raney, 35, of Alstead, New Hampshire was arrested on an extraditable warrant out of Massachusetts for charges of possession and distribution of controlled drugs.

She was charged by the Keene Police as a fugitive from justice and held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending an arraignment in 8th Circuit Court-Keene on April 10 at 1 p.m.

Raney had an additional five warrants out of the Cheshire County Superior Court and the 8th Circuit Court-Keene.

Michael Olmstead, 42, of Keene was arrested on a $500 bench warrant for DUI and operating after suspension, subsequent.

He was unable to post the required bail and was held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending arraignment on April 10 in the 8th Circuit Court-Keene at 1 p.m.

Paige Wilson, 34, of Sullivan, New Hampshire was arrested for possession of a controlled drug.

She was held by the bail commissioner in preventative detention at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending arraignment in the 8th Circuit Court-Keene on April 10 at 1 p.m.

Anya Strandfeldt, 37, of Keene was arrested on two bench warrants with a collective $1,500 cash bail on charges of violation of probation.

She was unable to post bail and was held in the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending arraignment in the 8th Circuit Court-Keene on April 10 at 1 p.m.

Jordan Bermudez, 20, of Union City, New Jersey was arrested on a Keene Police warrant for robbery.

He was released by the bail commissioner on $1,000 cash bail pending arraignment in the 8th Circuit Court, Keene on June 1 at 1 p.m.

The investigations and arrests are part of Operation Granite Shield, a state-funded initiative targeting illicit drug distribution in New Hampshire.
