ROCKLAND, ME — Police arrested a South Thomaston man following a reported home invasion Thursday night.
Officers responded to the incident at around 10:45 p.m. on April 9.
The suspect had fled before police arrived, but officers learned the suspect was known to the victim.
Police said the suspect was attempting to fight one of the residents when the front door was kicked open and at least one person made entry into the home.
Officers attempted to locate the suspect, who was later found and arrested in South Thomaston with assistance from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Cory Brockman, 18, of South Thomaston, was arrested and booked into the Knox County Holding Facility.
He faces charges of felony burglary, criminal threatening and criminal mischief.
