BLACK BROOK, NY — A 79-year-old woman died following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Golf Course Road and Dry Bridge Road on Wednesday morning.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said the collision occurred at 10:34 a.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed the woman was operating a black Hyundai as the sole occupant and was heading east on Dry Bridge Road, where she stopped at the posted stop sign.
The driver of the Hyundai then proceeded to pull out into the intersection, entering into the path of an oncoming delivery truck that was heading west on Golf Course Road.
Both drivers were transported to CVPH.
The woman was being treated at CVPH where she later died.
At the time of this release, the 41-year-old male driver of the delivery truck was being evaluated at CVPH and is expected to be released.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing names of the parties involved at this time.
The agencies that responded to the scene were the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, AuSable Forks Fire Department, AuSable Forks EMS, Keeseville Fire Department, Keeseville EMS and the New York State Police.
