FITCHBURG, MA — A multi-agency task force executed a search warrant Tuesday that resulted in the seizure of trafficking-weight quantities of heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine.
Detectives from Fitchburg Police, Leominster Police, Lunenburg Police, Massachusetts State Police, North Worcester County Drug Task Force, Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and DEA Worcester HIDTA participated in the operation.
Investigators also recovered an illegally defaced firearm with ammunition during the search.
The operation was conducted as part of ongoing drug enforcement efforts in the city.
