Multiple arrests reported in Salamanca

SALAMANCA, NY — Police reported multiple arrests and charges during the first week of April, according to the Salamanca Police Department.

On April 1, Andrew Skye, 37, currently remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail, was additionally charged with first-degree strangulation and third-degree grand larceny as part of a new indictment on a previous arrest.

Skye was arraigned and remanded back to the custody of the Cattaraugus County Jail.

Jason Nevares, 43, of Salamanca, turned himself in on two arrest warrants issued out of the City of Salamanca.

Nevares was charged with criminal contempt of a court order and second-degree harassment.

Dustin Longboat, 30, of Buffalo, turned himself in on a bench warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court.

On April 2, Melanie Jimerson, 39, of Salamanca, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration following a traffic stop.

Deanna Caparatta, 28, of Fredonia, was taken into custody following a traffic stop and charged with criminal contempt of a court order.

Victor Jimenez, 29, of Gowanda, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, no safety glass and unlicensed operation.

Melissa Jimerson, 40, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a complaint and charged with first-degree criminal contempt.

Hines Nosie, 66, of Killbuck, was taken into custody following a complaint and charged with consuming alcohol in public.

On April 3, Kyler Printup, 27, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant and charged with fourth-degree stalking.

Preston Quinn, 32, of Olean, was taken into custody following a complaint and charged with disorderly conduct.

Brennin Reynolds, 30, of Limestone, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court.

Dyllon Leonard, 33, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a complaint and charged with trespass, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.

On April 4, Shally Seneca, 32, of Irving, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court.

Kailah Fisher, 28, of Salamanca, was issued a dog at large ticket following a complaint.

On April 5, Zuleyka Fuentes Cruz, 45, of Falconer, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court.

Judith Redeye, 32, of Salamanca, was charged with criminal contempt of a court order following a complaint.

On April 6, Matthew Grimes, 32, of Newfane, was taken into custody on an indictment warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Superior Court.

Grimes was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally negligent homicide.

On April 7, Evelyn Bennink, 47, of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child following a complaint.
