Man arrested on DUI, fleeing charges in Parkesburg

PARKESBURG, PA — A 35-year-old man was arrested on charges of fleeing and eluding while driving under the influence following an erratic driver complaint April 3.

Police responded to the complaint at approximately 10:06 p.m. in the 200 block of South Church Street.

Felix Joel Ramirez-Torres failed to stop for police as he repeatedly entered the oncoming lane of traffic, according to authorities.

Police forced a vehicle stop prior to the intersection of State Route 10 and State Route 372.

It was determined that Ramirez-Torres had been operating his vehicle while impaired.

Ramirez-Torres was transported to the Chester County Prison pending his formal arraignment and the scheduling of a preliminary hearing to be held at District Court 15-3-07.
