HORSEHEADS, NY — A man was arrested at his workplace on a fugitive warrant from Pennsylvania.
Nicholas M. Marks, 37, of Elmira Heights, was taken into custody at approximately 12 p.m. Monday at his place of employment in the village.
The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office arrested Marks on a warrant from Bradford County, Pennsylvania, charging him as a fugitive from justice.
The warrant stems from a violation of parole charge, with a lead offense of endangering welfare of children – parents/guardian/other commits offense, in violation of Pennsylvania Crimes Code.
The Criminal Investigations Division received the warrant from Bradford County authorities, who requested that Marks be held.
Marks was arrested by the Road Patrol Division and processed as a fugitive from justice.
He was arraigned by the Village of Horseheads Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
