CAMBRIDGE, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 23-year-old Cambridge man on suspicion of driving under the influence and reckless endangerment following a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
Police responded to a report of a crash on Pumpkin Harbor Road at approximately 5:37 a.m.
The operator, Widinson Cuenca, had left the scene before troopers arrived.
Troopers later made contact with Cuenca and observed multiple indicators of impairment.
Two passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash: Olga Dutan, 21, of Cambridge, and a 2-year-old juvenile, also of Cambridge.
All three occupants were wearing seat belts, and no injuries were reported.
The 2017 Ford Focus sustained front-end damage.
Cuenca was transported to the Williston Barracks and released with a citation to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
The Cambridge Fire Department and Cambridge Rescue assisted at the scene.
Road conditions were wet and it was raining at the time of the crash.
