WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested three people Saturday afternoon following a retail theft at the Wyoming Valley Mall JCPenney.
Casey Lynn Hughes, 39, Rahmel Steve Lambert, 37, and Valerie Lee Ungvarsky, 55, were taken into custody at 4:17 p.m. after officers located their silver Toyota Camry, which had fled from the scene.
Police found ecstasy, marijuana and alprazolam pills inside the vehicle.
Hughes admitted to taking merchandise from the JCPenney and is facing charges of retail theft and tampering with evidence.
Lambert and Ungvarsky are facing charges of illegal drug possession and paraphernalia.
