EAST LANSDOWNE, PA — A woman wanted on felony warrants in two states was arrested March 31.
East Lansdowne Police Officer Stephen Mengini was on patrol at approximately 12:15 p.m. when he observed a woman known to have numerous felony warrants in the unit block of Wildwood Avenue.
The woman was identified as Stephanie Marie George, 38, of Pennsylvania.
George was taken into custody and felony warrants from Maryland and Delaware were confirmed for narcotics and related charges.
George was charged in Pennsylvania as a fugitive and was remanded to Delaware County Prison where she awaits an extradition hearing.
An arraignment is scheduled for April 29 before Judge Michael F. Culp.
