PITTSFIELD, NY — A man was arrested following a reported physical domestic dispute March 25, 2026.
Peter T. Tansey, 35, of Pittsfield, was charged with three counts of second-degree harassment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the town after it was reported that Tansey had entered into a physical dispute with family members.
Tansey was taken into custody without incident.
He was processed and held at the Otsego County Correctional Facility for central arraignment.
Tansey is scheduled to appear in Town of Pittsfield Court.
