Saturation patrol conducted in Caledonia County

SAINT JOHNSBURY, VT — Vermont State Police troopers conducted a saturation patrol on Interstate 91 and surrounding areas in Caledonia County on April 3, 2026.

Six troopers participated in the operation between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The patrol focused on the interstate from Barnet to Lyndon, as well as the surrounding Saint Johnsbury area.

The purpose of the patrol was to detect and identify aggressive drivers, enforce motor vehicle laws and promote safe driving.

Troopers made 39 traffic stops during the three-hour operation.

Seven traffic tickets were issued.

Thirty-three written warnings were issued.

Four operators were ticketed for traveling in excess of 85 mph.

One operator was ticketed for traveling in excess of 90 mph.
