BOSTON, MA — A Duxbury man pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to distribution of child sexual abuse material.
Daniel Debreczeni, 35, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Denise J. Casper scheduled sentencing for July 16, 2026.
Debreczeni was arrested and charged in August 2025.
Between Nov. 29, 2023 and Dec. 12, 2023, Debreczeni distributed three videos containing child sexual abuse material in a private chat room dedicated to child sexual abuse on the Kik Messenger platform.
The children in the three videos appeared to be between approximately two, three and eight years old.
During a subsequent search of Debreczeni’s residence, five images and 19 videos depicting child sexual abuse material were located on Debreczeni’s Kik account.
The charge of distribution of child pornography provides for a sentence of at least five years and up to 20 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.
