WORCESTER, MA — A man was arrested early Friday morning after a fatal stabbing at a rooming house on Catharine Street.
Worcester Police officers responded to a call of an assault involving a knife at approximately 4:11 a.m. on April 2, 2026.
Officers located an adult male suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers located an adult male suspect at the scene and placed him under arrest for the attack.
All evidence indicates that this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public, police said.
The case remains under investigation by the Detective Bureau.
