PUTNEY, VT — Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Route 5 on April 2, 2026, at approximately 8:48 a.m. after observing a motor vehicle violation.
An investigation revealed that the passenger, Jacob Coulombe, 29, of Brattleboro, had an active in-state arrest warrant for assault and disorderly conduct.
Coulombe was arrested and transported to Windham County Superior Court to answer to the charges.
