HARRISBURG, PA — A masked gunman shot a customer during an armed robbery at a business in the 1900 block of North 3rd Street on Wednesday night.
Harrisburg Police responded to the area of North 3rd and Muench streets at about 10 p.m. for a report of a robbery with shots fired.
Officers learned a masked male entered a local establishment and committed a robbery.
The suspect also attempted to rob a customer and shot the victim in the lower extremity during the encounter.
The suspect fled the establishment and area on foot.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
