WATERBURY, CT — A Waterbury man faces multiple drug charges after police executed search warrants on March 27, 2026.
Officers from the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Crime Prevention Unit, Gang Task Force and Auto Theft Task Force conducted searches of God Shakur, 40, of Waterbury, a 2014 BMW 320ix and a residence on Joshua Town Road.
Police seized 1,323 bags of heroin, 132 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $400 in U.S. currency.
Shakur was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of 1 ounce or more of heroin/fentanyl and possession of 1/2 ounce or more of cocaine in freebase form.
