SPRINGFIELD, MA — A 15-year-old was arrested Saturday evening in connection with an armed robbery on Frank B. Murray Street.
Springfield Police officers received information around 5:35 p.m. that a victim had their electronic bike stolen.
The victim stated the suspect showed the handle of what appeared to be a firearm and stole the e-bike.
Officers quickly located the suspect and detained him around 6 p.m.
Officers recovered a BB gun in his fanny pack and he was placed under arrest.
Due to his age, the suspect’s name, booking photo and specific charges will not be released.
