PERU, NY — A 33-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants March 31.

Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eric T. Morin of Peru at 1:10 p.m. following the issuance of a bench warrant and an arrest warrant by the Town of Plattsburgh Court.

Authorities allege Morin failed to appear in court following his initial appearance and arraignment.

Morin was located in Peru and taken into custody on both warrants.

He is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony; third-degree burglary, a class D felony; fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class A misdemeanor; and two counts of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

Morin was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court where he was remanded to the Clinton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bond, and $100,000 partially secured bond.
