Two-vehicle crash on Route 22B in Schuyler Falls

SCHUYLER FALLS, NY — A two-vehicle crash on State Route 22B sent one driver to the hospital with minor injuries March 31.

Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash at 3:17 p.m.

Joseph Fountain, 38, of Plattsburgh, was traveling northeast when he entered the oncoming lane, striking a vehicle driven by Christopher Parent, 56, of Peru, according to Deputy C. Trombley.

Fountain was ticketed for moving from lane unsafely.

Fountain was transported to UVM-CVPH for evaluation of minor injuries and has since been released.

Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by Morrisonville Fire, Cadyville Fire, Morrisonville EMS and New York State Police.
