CLARENDON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 25-year-old man on domestic assault charges following a dispute at a residence on Colins Lane.
Troopers responded to a report of a domestic dispute at approximately 12:32 p.m. April 1, 2026.
Police identified Daniel Bongers, of Clarendon, as one of the parties involved in the incident.
An investigation revealed that Bongers caused bodily injury to another household member, according to police.
Bongers was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was charged with unlawful restraint and domestic assault.
Following processing, Bongers was transported to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
