Man arrested on weapons charge in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a local man on weapons and probation violation charges following a report of suspicious activity at a pharmacy.

Aaron R. Oldenburg, 35, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 5:12 p.m. March 31 after officers responded to CVS at 525 Buckland Road.

Police received a report of a suspicious man wearing a cross-body bag and mask who walked behind a complainant’s vehicle in the drive-thru line.

Officers located Oldenburg leaving the nearby Stop & Shop.

Police determined Oldenburg had an active warrant for violation of probation.

A search of his belongings following his arrest revealed brass knuckles.

Oldenburg was held on $75,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. April 1.

He faces charges of violation of probation and carrying a dangerous weapon.
