ARLINGTON, VT — Vermont State Police received notification of a citizen dispute at a Stewart’s Shop on March 31, 2026, at 9:28 a.m.
Through investigation, police determined that Michelle D. Mcallister, 47, of Fort Edward, New York, put her hands on Tiffany E. Desmaris, 38, of Sandgate, during a verbal dispute, inflicting pain.
Mcallister was later located and issued a citation for simple assault.
She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on June 29, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
