Man arrested on drug paraphernalia charges in Easton

EASTON, PA — Forks Township police arrested a man on drug paraphernalia and related charges after responding to a report of suspicious activity on March 19, 2026.

Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Johnson Street at approximately 6:13 p.m. for a report of a male wandering in a resident’s backyard.

Upon arrival, police made contact with George Addison Reed, 44, of Pennsylvania, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and was not responsive to officers, according to police.

Officers observed Reed had a large, fixed blade knife on his belt, along with two smaller pocket knives, all of which were removed from his person.

Reed attempted to retrieve the knives and was taken to the ground and detained, police said.

A search incident to arrest revealed drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Reed was charged with three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of public drunkenness and one count of disorderly conduct.
