LEICESTER, VT — A man was arrested after allegedly pointing a rifle at two people, including a family member, state police said.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were notified of a possible weapons offense at approximately 10:29 a.m. on March 30, 2026.
An investigation revealed that Craig Disorda, 50, of Leicester, had pointed a rifle at a family member and one other person, placing them in fear, police said.
Disorda was taken into custody without incident and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.
He was charged with reckless endangerment, first degree aggravated domestic assault and aggravated assault.
Disorda was transported to the Marble Valley Correctional Facility on $2,500 bail.
He was issued a citation to appear at the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on March 31, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
