MENDON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 39-year-old man on multiple domestic assault charges following a dispute at a residence on March 29, 2026.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks were dispatched to the residence at approximately 12:56 p.m.
Investigation revealed that John White, of Mendon, caused injury to a family or household member at the residence.
Police also discovered White had an active warrant for his arrest and had violated a Relief From Abuse Order.
White was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was charged with first-degree domestic assault, two counts of second-degree domestic assault, arrest on warrant and violation of a Relief From Abuse Order.
White was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division.
