ALLSTON, MA — A 16-year-old male surrendered to police at about 9:40 p.m. Saturday in connection with a shooting that occurred two days earlier.
The juvenile turned himself in at District D-14 in Allston and was wanted on a warrant issued out of Suffolk County Juvenile Court.
He faces charges including delinquency to wit assault with intent to murder, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, assault and battery attempt with a firearm, possession of ammunition without an FID card, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, firearm use in a felony and carrying a firearm without a license.
The arrest stems from an incident at about 6:46 p.m. Thursday in the area of 222 Brighton Avenue, where officers responded to a report of a person shot.
A juvenile victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
