Driver arrested on DWI charge in Mayfield

MAYFIELD, NY — State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 29 in Mayfield on March 19, 2026, at about 10 p.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.

The driver was identified as Joseph J. Naumann, 25, of Gloversville.

Naumann was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.

He was transported to State Police Mayfield for processing where he recorded a 0.18% BAC.

Naumann was issued tickets returnable to Mayfield Town Court on April 28, 2026, and released to a sober third party.

GALWAY, NY — State Police responded to a report of a one-car crash off the roadway of West Galway Road in Galway on March 20, 2026, at about 10:47 p.m.

During the investigation, the driver was identified as Jessika L. Baylis, 37, of Amsterdam.

Baylis allegedly knowingly provided false identifying information belonging to a family member.

Baylis was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.

She was transported to Saratoga Hospital for further medical evaluation of injuries reportedly sustained during the crash, where she refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of her blood.

Baylis was processed and issued an appearance ticket based on the false information she provided, which was returnable to Galway Town Court on April 23, 2026.

Upon further investigation on March 23, Baylis was additionally charged with criminal impersonation in the second degree, falsifying business records in the first degree, aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, and her original DWI charge was upgraded to aggravated driving while intoxicated due to a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years.

CLIFTON PARK, NY — State Police stopped a vehicle on Kinn Road in Clifton Park on March 21, 2026, at about 10:15 p.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.

The driver was identified as Tyler J. Maguire, 32, of Ballston Spa.

Maguire was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.

He was transported to State Police Saratoga for processing where he recorded a 0.27% BAC.

Further investigation discovered Maguire has had a previous DWI conviction in the last 10 years.

Maguire was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Clifton Park Town Court on April 22, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
