CAERNARVON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested a man on disorderly conduct and related charges following an incident at Hollywood Casino on March 5.
Kevin McKechan, 50, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody at approximately 9:05 p.m. after officers responded to a report of a disorderly subject in the casino parking lot at 6021 Morgantown Road.
Casino security reported that McKechan was intoxicated and had urinated in the parking lot.
Officers found McKechan seated in a semi-truck and informed him he was banned from the property due to his level of intoxication and disorderly behavior.
Police transported McKechan to the Holiday Inn at 6170 Morgantown Road.
McKechan became agitated when his phone could not be located and threatened to walk back to the casino, according to police.
Officers advised McKechan he would be arrested if he returned to the property.
McKechan approached an officer, making threatening statements and physical gestures, police said.
He was instructed multiple times to return to his room but refused to comply.
Due to his aggressive behavior, officers took McKechan to the ground, where he continued to resist arrest, according to police.
McKechan was taken into custody with the assistance of another officer.
He faces charges of disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and resisting arrest.
