PORTLAND, ME — The FBI and Portland Police Department have doubled the reward to $25,000 for information leading to the location of a Massachusetts man who disappeared nearly 20 years ago.
Miguel Oliveras, of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, was last seen around 1 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2006, at the Platinum Plus Club on Riverside Street in Portland.
He was wearing a grey camouflage long-sleeve shirt with a white t-shirt over it, green cargo shorts and white sneakers.
Oliveras is a Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes.
At the time he went missing, he was 24 years old, approximately 5’11” tall and weighed approximately 170 pounds.
He has tattoos on his neck, back, shoulder and hand.
There have been no reported sightings or contact by Oliveras since his disappearance.
The FBI’s Southern Maine Gang Task Force and Portland Police Department are investigating the case as a suspicious disappearance.
