NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — State Police arrested a Providence man on multiple charges Wednesday evening following a barracks investigation.
Miguel Rose, 24, of Providence, was taken into custody at 8 p.m. Wednesday by troopers after being located by the Providence Police Department.
Rose was charged with simple assault and/or battery, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, and disorderly conduct.
He was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and held overnight.
Rose was arraigned Thursday morning at Third District Court, where he was presented as a violator.
In a separate incident Wednesday, troopers arrested Domenique D. Mattoon, 33, of North Kingstown, at 10:44 p.m. on a Third District Court bench warrant.
The warrant was issued for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on an original charge of disorderly conduct-domestic originating from the Warwick Police Department.
Mattoon was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick.
She was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Women’s Intake Center.
