COLONIE, NY — Police have arrested four people in connection with two unrelated disturbances at a Longhorn Steakhouse on Wolf Road earlier this month.

The first incident occurred on March 4 at approximately 8:35 p.m. when police received multiple emergency calls reporting a large fight inside the restaurant at 138 Wolf Road.

Callers indicated that approximately 10 individuals were actively fighting and causing damage within the restaurant.

When officers arrived, they encountered a chaotic scene with numerous conflicting accounts.

Several individuals involved in the altercation, as well as potential witnesses, had either fled before police arrived or were uncooperative with officers.

Police determined that a group of individuals dining inside the restaurant encountered a second group who had entered to pick up a takeout order.

The groups were known to one another, and a verbal dispute ensued, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

During the incident, restaurant property was damaged, and one individual who was directly involved in the fight sustained a puncture wound from an unknown object.

That individual was treated on scene by Colonie EMS and transported to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.

Investigators obtained critical evidence from witness-provided cell phone video and footage posted on social media.

Tasheem Maeweather, 30, of Albany, was arrested on March 9 and charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree, reckless endangerment to property and disorderly conduct.

He was released with an appearance ticket and turned over to the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.

Willis Maeweather, 32, of Albany, was arrested on March 11 and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, reckless endangerment to property and disorderly conduct.

He was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

Albert Fields, 40, of Schenectady, was arrested on March 16 and charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree, reckless endangerment to property and disorderly conduct.

He was released with an appearance ticket.

The second incident occurred on March 8 at approximately 5:35 p.m. when police responded to a reported disturbance at the same restaurant.

Officers determined that Anita Henry had been causing a disturbance in the bar area and was asked to leave by staff.

Henry, 29, of Maywood, Illinois, became disorderly and began throwing glasses and bottles.

One of the thrown objects struck a patron seated at the bar, causing a laceration to his head.

The injured patron was treated by Colonie Emergency Medical Services.

Henry was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

She was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility.

Police have determined that the two incidents are unrelated.

The Colonie Police Department has referred both incidents to the New York State Liquor Authority for review.
