NEW HAVEN, VT — Two people were cited for simple assault following a physical altercation early Wednesday morning.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were notified of a possible theft that had turned physical in New Haven at approximately 4:35 a.m. on March 25, 2026.
After arriving on scene and investigating, troopers determined that Kyle Hamilton, 26, of New Haven, and Jordan Ritchie, 29, of New Haven, got into a physical altercation and knowingly caused bodily injury to each other.
Both Hamilton and Ritchie were taken into custody without incident and transported to the New Haven Barracks.
Hamilton and Ritchie were processed and issued criminal citations to appear before the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on March 25, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
