JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested early Sunday morning after police observed her driving through a red light and traveling on the wrong side of the road.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon were on patrol in the area of S Main Street and Arterial at about 2:04 a.m. on March 22, 2026, when they conducted a traffic stop.
Police made contact with the driver, Tiffany A. Haight, 44, of Jamestown.
Through investigation, officers determined that Haight was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Haight was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test which resulted in a .17% blood alcohol content.
Police discovered that Haight had a previous conviction of DWI in the preceding 10 years, making this incident a felony level DWI.
Haight was also operating the vehicle with a revoked New York State driver’s license and was additionally charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, a felony.
Haight was held in the Jamestown City Jail for arraignment and issued multiple vehicle and traffic tickets.
