Man arrested on murder warrant in Waterbury

WATERBURY, CT — A man wanted for murder in New York was arrested March 13, 2026, following the execution of a search warrant.

Malik Williams, 27, of Waterbury, was taken into custody by officers from the Waterbury Police Department assigned to the United States Marshals Service and the Emergency Regional Response Team.

Williams had an active arrest warrant out of New York for Murder in the Second Degree.

He was additionally charged with Interfering with an Officer due to his conduct during the apprehension attempt.
