Woman dies after crash in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, MA — An 85-year-old woman died following a two-vehicle crash on Worcester Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Framingham Police Department responded to the crash in the area of Worcester Road and Country Club Lane around 12:44 p.m. on March 21.

The crash occurred on the westbound side of Worcester Road, also known as Route 9.

The operator of the first vehicle, a 73-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center with minor injuries.

The passenger of the first vehicle, an 85-year-old woman, was transported by Life Flight helicopter to UMass Memorial Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

The operator of the second vehicle, a 30-year-old man, remained on scene.

There were no other injuries reported.

No charges have been filed at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by the Framingham Police, Massachusetts State Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
