Man arrested in fentanyl trafficking bust in East Falmouth

EAST FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth man was arrested early Monday morning after police seized more than 150 grams of fentanyl from his home.

Carlton H. Hendricks III, 35, of East Falmouth, was taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant at approximately 5 a.m. March 23 at a Central Avenue residence.

The operation stemmed from an ongoing narcotics investigation that revealed Hendricks had been regularly selling illegal drugs, according to the Falmouth Police Department.

During the search, investigators confiscated just over 150 grams of fentanyl.

Additional items seized included digital scales, a cutting substance, and sandwich bags.

Authorities also recovered more than $1,700 in cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales.

Hendricks was charged with trafficking fentanyl over 100 grams but under 200 grams.

The Drug Enforcement Administration Cape Cod Task Force and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office assisted in executing the warrant.
