PLATTSBURGH, NY — New York State Police arrested a 59-year-old man on a grand larceny charge March 20, 2026.
Roger D. Dupuis, of Cohoes, was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
State Police responded to Lowe’s on Centre Drive at approximately 12:19 p.m. for a report of a larceny.
An investigation determined that Dupuis entered the store and stole merchandise valued at $1,050.60 by passing all points of purchase without paying.
Dupuis was transported to State Police barracks in Plattsburgh for processing and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Plattsburgh Court in April.
Further investigation revealed that Dupuis had active warrants related to an unrelated incident.
He was subsequently turned over to State Police in Fonda.
