LLOYD, NY — Town of Lloyd Police have reported multiple arrests during a recent period spanning from March 9 through March 20.
Travis J. Cuvelier, 29, of Highland, was arrested March 14 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd degree and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
He was transported to the Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in the Ulster County Arraignment Parts Court.
Hope Sadowsky, 41, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested March 20 on a bench warrant for criminal trespass 3rd degree and criminal mischief 4th degree.
She was also charged with bail jumping 3rd degree and transported to the Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in the Ulster County Arraignment Parts Court.
Dennis Bussanich, 45, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested March 16 on an arrest warrant for petit larceny.
He is accused of stealing approximately $450 worth of merchandise from the Hannaford Store in Highland and was transported to the Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in the Ulster County Arraignment Parts Court.
Alex Garcia Jr., 33, of Highland, was arrested March 18 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol after the vehicle he was operating was stopped for traffic violations on Route 299 in Highland.
Garcia was released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Lloyd Court April 2, 2026.
Veronica M. Cook, 48, of Millbrook, was arrested March 14 and charged with driving while intoxicated after the vehicle she was operating was stopped for traffic violations on Route 44/55 in Highland.
Cook was released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Lloyd Court April 2, 2026.
Joshua D. Villanueva, 32, of the Bronx, was arrested March 19 and charged with menacing 2nd degree.
He is accused of threatening another person with a knife during a domestic dispute and was transported to the Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in the Ulster County Arraignment Parts Court.
Melissa R. Sangi, 44, of Highland, was arrested March 19 on a bench warrant for aggravated harassment 2nd degree from the New York State Police.
Sangi was turned over to the New York State Police on the warrant.
Michael A. Leon, 26, who is homeless, was arrested March 9 and charged with criminal contempt 1st degree, assault 3rd degree and aggravated family offense after he was involved in a domestic dispute.
He was transported to the Ulster County Jail to await arraignment in the Ulster County Arraignment Parts Court.
Railyna R. West, 30, was arrested March 10 and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after the vehicle she was operating was involved in a rollover motor vehicle accident on Route 44/55 in Highland.
West was released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Lloyd Court March 26, 2026.
Maxamillian J. Hiraldo, 25, of Highland, was arrested March 11 on a bench warrant for assault 3rd degree and criminal mischief 4th degree from the Town of New Paltz Police.
Hiraldo was turned over to New Paltz Police on the warrant.
Dawn Velapoldi, 58, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested March 12 and charged with petit larceny.
She is accused of stealing approximately $54 worth of merchandise from the Hannaford Store in Highland and was released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Lloyd Court March 31, 2026.
