CHAMBERSBURG, PA — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a hit-and-run incident that occurred in a parking lot on March 12, 2026.
The Chambersburg Police Department responded to a report of a hit-and-run at 235 S. Third St.
An investigation revealed that a vehicle struck another vehicle in the parking lot and left the area without making the required notifications, police said.
Police released a photo of a person who may have information relevant to the ongoing investigation.
The person is considered a person of interest but not necessarily a suspect at this time, according to police.
