PRINCETON, NJ — Police are searching for multiple suspects who fled from a burglary and collided with a patrol vehicle on March 20, 2026.
Princeton Police received a 911 call at approximately 7:54 p.m. from a resident of Coniston Court who reported hearing what she believed to be unknown individuals inside her residence.
Officers responded to the residence and encountered several suspects exiting the home, who immediately fled from officers.
The suspects entered a vehicle and fled the area.
A short time later, the suspect vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a Princeton Police patrol vehicle that was responding to the area on Great Road.
Following the collision, the suspects exited their vehicle and fled the area on foot.
The officer operating the patrol vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police officers conducted an extensive search of the area with the assistance of a K-9 unit from the Hamilton Township Police Department and a drone from the West Windsor Police Department.
Despite the efforts, the suspects were not located.
No residents inside the home were injured during the incident.
