WARRINGTON, PA — A 54-year-old woman was arrested after a hit-and-run crash Tuesday at the intersection of Lower State Road and County Line Road.

Police said the victim followed the striking vehicle and flagged down an auxiliary officer, who directed both vehicles into a nearby parking lot.

Officers identified the driver as Esther Stollow of Warrington.

While speaking with her, officers detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages and observed numerous signs of impairment.

The victim reported that after the crash, Stollow briefly stopped but then drove into a nearby CVS parking lot while looking at her phone.

When confronted, she had slurred speech and remarked, “but you’re ok,” before driving away.

When informed she had been involved in a crash, Stollow denied any accident had occurred.

Her vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front bumper, headlights, and hood.

She appeared unsteady on her feet and failed to satisfactorily complete field sobriety tests.

Stollow was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence and accident involving damage to attended vehicle.

She was transported to the Warrington Police station, where she refused to submit to a blood test.

She was processed and later released pending court proceedings.

Criminal charges are merely allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
