MCKEESPORT, PA — A McKeesport police officer was injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Walnut Street and 28th Street.
County 9-1-1 was notified of the crash at 4:57 p.m. this date.
The officer was responding to a priority call when the police vehicle collided with a utility van.
The officer was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The driver of the utility van was not injured and remained on scene.
The Allegheny County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
