COBLESKILL, NY — A man was arrested Wednesday after he was reported armed with a baseball bat and attempting to enter multiple hotel rooms in the village.
Sean Grenier, 57, of Cobleskill, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a Class E felony.
Deputies responded to the scene at about 12:30 p.m. following a report of a male subject with a bat trying to gain entry into hotel rooms.
Grenier was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Cobleskill Court on July 21 at 12:30 p.m.
The New York State Police assisted at the scene.
The Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
