PENN YAN, NY — A Penn Yan man was arrested on a drug charge after laboratory results confirmed a substance found in his possession was crack cocaine.
Larry E. Enos, 55, of Penn Yan, was arrested July 9.
Deputies with the Yates County Sheriff’s Office conducted further investigation into Enos’ warrant arrest that occurred June 24 in the village of Penn Yan.
During that arrest, Enos was found in possession of a white crystallized substance.
Laboratory results confirmed the substance tested positive for crack cocaine.
Enos was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Milo Court at a later date.
