HARTFORD, CT — Community Service Officers recovered a stolen motor vehicle on Martin Street on June 29, 2026.
Officers were patrolling the area of 225 Martin Street when they located the unoccupied 2007 Ford Ecoline E250, which had been reported stolen from East Hartford.
During their investigation, officers identified a suspect who was determined to be in possession of the stolen vehicle.
The suspect was taken into custody on scene and transported to the Hartford Police Detention Facility for processing.
Antonio Bernal, 35, of Hartford, was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and larceny in the third degree.
