SUTTON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on suspicion of DUI after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle on July 4, 2026.
Police received a report at 9:07 p.m. of a vehicle parked in a driveway at 3273 U.S. Route 5 with a male passed out behind the wheel of a white 2017 Nissan Rogue.
Troopers responded to the scene to check on the operator, later identified as Jacob King, 48, of Newark.
Troopers found indicators of impairment.
King was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and was brought to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was released on citation.
