Man arrested on DUI charge in Eden

EDEN, VT — A Cambridge man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after being stopped for speeding on July 4.

Vermont State Police troopers were conducting radar speed enforcement along Vermont Route 100 near Blakeville Road South at approximately 8:30 p.m. when they observed a vehicle traveling visibly above the posted 50 mph speed limit.

Radar confirmed the vehicle was traveling at 84 mph.

Troopers initiated a traffic stop and identified the operator as Seth Russin, 29, of Cambridge.

While speaking with Russin, troopers detected numerous indicators of impairment.

Russin was screened and subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing.

Russin was released with a citation to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court on Aug. 5 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge of DUI refusal.

Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department.
