Man arrested on stolen goods charge in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Cumberland man was arrested on charges of receiving stolen goods and driving without a valid license following a traffic stop on Chad Brown Street.

Danzzel Dale, 30, of Cumberland, was taken into custody at 2:02 p.m.

Dale faces charges of receiving stolen goods valued at more than $1,500 and driving with an expired or without a license, fourth or subsequent offense.

He was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing.

Dale was arraigned by a justice of the peace and taken to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

He will await presentment as a bail violator in Sixth Division District Court.

In a separate incident, troopers arrested Jason B. Silva, 28, of Pawtucket, at 12:06 a.m. on a charge of possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance.
