RANDOLPH, VT — Vermont State Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple vehicle thefts that occurred in the early morning hours of June 25, 2026.
Tyler Wallin, 28, of Barre City, was identified as the individual involved in the incident following an investigation by state police.
Troopers received multiple reports of stolen motor vehicles in Randolph at approximately 1 a.m. on June 25 on Vermont Route 14 North and Vermont Route 14 South.
The investigation revealed that multiple vehicles were stolen and items were taken from another vehicle during the early morning hours.
Witnesses reported observing one individual wearing a dark cut-off sweatshirt, dark pants, a hat and a backpack.
Another person was observed wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt with dark colored hair.
Wallin was charged with two counts of aggravated operation without owners’ consent, operation without owners’ consent, unlawful trespass and petit larceny.
All stolen vehicles have been recovered and returned to their owners.
Wallin was cited and released to Barre Probation and Parole for lodging.
